The Kings Table

A few weeks ago my sister and brother-in-love were over at our house for dinner. My husband and I are foster parents and our little one walked into the kitchen because he is fascinated with throwing things into the trash. However, this time he pulled something out of the trash a carried into the living room with a big smile on his face. My sister looked at him and said, " Baby what are you doing? You no longer have to eat out of the trash your invited to the Kings table."

Something in my spirit leaped! I felt the Lord speak to me and say " So many people live their life eating out of the trash not realizing they are invited to my table."

If we listen to the lies of the adversary we will go through life thinking that we are not worth more than the trash. We will raise generations to fall into that same cycle of "I don't deserve better".

The desire of God is not for his children to live on yesterdays garbage. In Psalms 23 He gives us permission to sit at the table when He said " He prepares a table for me in the presence of my enemies." Not only do you have permission to sit at the table, but you get to eat in front of the people who kept you in this generational curse.

I encourage you to sit at the table and eat with the King.
